1.18 update is a major update for overworld generation, larger caves, taller mountains, new biomes, and flooded caves, that's why this update doesn't have so many new playsound commands since all the mobs and blocks for this update has been released in 1.17.

I found a total of 163 new playsound commands in 1.17, and they are awesome! From the new mobs added in 1.17 to the new blocks and ambient added in this update.
